Amerisafe Consulting and Safety Services (ACSS) offer OSHA Risk Management Process, Process Safety Management (PSM) and Process Safety Training to ensure employee health and safety for all types of industries nationwide.

Process Safety Management is a standard set forth by the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) to prevent unwanted releases of hazardous chemicals into locations that could expose employees to serious hazards.

Amerisafe Safety Consultants utilize OSHA’s Process Safety Management (PSM) Standard daily in our working field activities.

Many of the refineries, chemical plants, power plants, steel mills, and other manufacturing facilities that Amerisafe Safety Consultants work in require storage and use of highly hazardous chemicals. Amerisafe offers experienced safety consultants who will provide the technical knowledge of the OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) standard to any operations in which our clients would need assistance.

Process Safety Management Training

Several employee process safety management training sessions are involved and required by OSHA’s Process Safety Management standard. Employees covered under the PSM standard must receive initial health and safety training to any process or newly designed process to which they are assigned. Also, refresher process safety training must be given every three years or more often if necessary or if the process changes.
